Default Fuming....

Cut a long story short; nice and simple.

Some F***ing **** saw fit to reverse into my drivers front wing, wreck it, and the arch liner, give the alloy a little metallic kiss and take my side repeater for good measure.

So, after realising their spacial awareness difficulties, did they leave their insurance details.

DID THEY F**K!

My car is a weekend only pleasure, (save for the odd outing during the week, obviously), the damage had obviously already been done and I hadn't noticed owing to the eternal darkness that bathes us at this time of year and the fact that my car is berlina black.

Okay, upon re-reading my post I realise its hardly the worst fate that can befall a car; but it really makes me seethe that something I saved for years to buy, spend a lot of time, money and effort on keeping it nice etc can just be ruined by some f**kwit who probably doesnt give a s**t about their own car, much less mine!

Anyhoo, not going near the insurance company because I dont want an even bigger arse intrusion than the one they will undoubtedly deliver upon renewal, which means I now have to traipse up and down the country to find a wing, in good nick, and the right colour, all of which will cost me money and the even more precious commodity; time. Or find a wing in a different colour and let the body shop do a piss poor job whilst joining the insurance company 2 foot up my jacksie!

F**king selfish, S**t drivers eh.

Woosahh........ Woosahhh.

Gooosfraba.......

I feel a little better now.

Thanks for listening.

Dan

Sorry to hear it - it's bloody annoying that such losers abound.

When it happened to my MX-5, some kindly passer-by left a note per pro the doddery old cn ut in his poxy Accordion...

Good luck finding the black wing.

hope you get it sorted. There are far too many people without any respect for people property these days. Unfortunatley most of these people are being given licenses. If you dont like cars FOOKING walk or use public transport.

What a nightmare! I've just had mine bumped but the 3rd party was decent enough to provide details...

I'd be tearing my hair out if I was in your boat...

Good luck finding replacement parts.

I had this happen too, on more than one occasion. Thankfully only once in the S, and a lovely couple who witnessed the accident waited around for me until I had finished shopping.
