Default Gearbox 00-03 model to 04+ model

Anybody knows if there is a different gearbox part number between the pre 04 and after 04 models S2000? I mean the European S2000 with the F20C not the F22C. And if yes what are the differencies between those two gearboxes?

Thanks
Chris

Don't know, but I can tell you that you can fit a MY04 gearbox to a MY99.

MY04+ has carbon fibre synchromesh, but that's the only change AFAIK.

I am sure this is true for the American models with the F22C. But do European 04+ models have this also?

Thanks

The sychros have different part numbers between MYs.

<MY04

1-2: 23618-PCY-306
3-4: 23623-PCY-306
5-6: 23626-PCY-306

>MY04

Part numbers end with 316

ISTR they went from double to triple cone syncros on 2nd gear as well as changing them to carbon.
