Default Gearbox 'clunk'

Hi,

Had the S2000 for a few months now and have been lurking and reading for a while, gained some useful tips, great site!

At the weekend I noticed a clunk (both felt and heard) when engaging 1st gear - it doesn't seem to happen when cold. Whilst sat at the traffic lights tonight I was having a bit of a play with the gears and noticed i get the same when engaging 2nd gear.

I am going to drop in at the dealers tomorrow but before I do thought I would check to see if anyone had experienced this??

It is also a naturally "notchy" gearbox

Get the transmission oil changed, that helps

I do mine every 9,000 and use Redline MTL

My 02 was quite bad, 04 much improved.

No they will charge you to change it, order some online and do it your self,
its very straight forward.

Fluke motorsport sell it.
