He could get a brand new 04 GT for about the same kind of price (give or take a couple of hundred quid) if he haggles hard enough, or buys through one of the various people mentioned in the 04 threads recently.
Admittedly, he'd probably have to wait for one, but even so......

The problem you have with buying an ex-demo is that it probably hasn't been run in correctly, you don't know how it has been driven either. I know I nailed the demo car I had to see how it held up
I got 1400 discount just by pushing them a bit. Go for more !
