Ah thanks for that.
What would you go for if not on a budget? (16s)

The RE002s again, they are fantastic tyres.

I purchased some OEM from a S2KI forum member and had them powder coated in Anthracite - can safely say I love em.

Unfortunately, the rubber is going to cost around £300 plus the cost of geometry etc, probably meaning I need £500 or so before I can have them fitted

Can't afford it? You have a load of cement there, bury the missus under the patio then claim on the insurance.

I had a look at your car - in my OPINION, awful. But I like OEM and unmolested cars, so who am I to judge.
Like i said, you post on a forum you get other peoples opinion... which doesn't bother me lol

but in all honesty i cant see how anyone wouldn't like my car

Only thing on the outside of mine that's not standard is the front bumper and the bonnet, so no biggy really. my alloys are original 17" facelift which i have had diamond cut rather than powder coated as that is MORE OEM, although a darker colour including brand new OEM center caps and brand new OEM S2000 CR black lug nuts and lockers

Be wary of dot codes on new tyres from ebay, dont buy old rubber

i like the yoko's but my car is fair weather only so dunno how good they are in winter.

the 16s are lighter arent they? And certainly look better than those mondeo wheels to my eye

You done good imo.. does that cancel out that baddie define? Haha

I think you did well, I have a pet hate of facelift wheels on a pre facelift car, don't know why, just do
But as others have said this an open forum and you will get many different opinions...

Most of the online tyre shops have them in stock, small tyre outlets don't carry them and have to order them in

I think those wheels look nice coated like that. If you're happy with them, then bonza.
