Yep those files appear to not extract for me either.

Sounds like it could be a sticky brake to me, do you know how long it sat on the dealer forecourt (with the handbrake on)? Did you have a feel of the wheels as recommended by s2k4Tony earlier in the thread ?

The rears do have a low wear indicator that's designed to screech - have you got much material left on the pads ?

I misread s2k4Tony suggestion earlier and felt the brake discs after a drive and they all seemed equally hot to touch. Not burning - I could touch them and keep my finger on without getting burnt.

I will check the wheels this evening after a drive.

I did a quick test earlier after reading some other stuff and it seemed to be a bit quieter if I go clockwise around a roundabout - not much but slightly...

Thanks all for all the input so far.

it's sounding possibly more like the wheel bearing rotating in the hub. There's a whole thing about re-torqueing hub nuts on the rear that you might want to read up about https://www.s2ki.com/home/2012/09/21...ow-to-and-why/ in case it might be that

Presumably a Halfords Auto Centre, similar to Kwik Fit, with whom you seem to have no problem.

The Halfords is just a freebie - to see if they think its the tyre or something.
The real diagnostic is at a reliable garage I have used for several years for our cars - who cant see me till Thursday.

Ilford - Essex / East London.

I did ask earlier up the thread for a garage recommendation - but got no response- hence going to see our regular garage on Thursday.

I phoned Honda Romford and they wanted £114 minimum for a diagnostic!

Thanks - read the article and have one question - the car is a 2004 with 112K on the clock and full Honda history uptil 93K - so is it still possible that has not been done yet?

If it has a full Honda service history you will be able to check it out with Honda UK.
Your service should be yearly or every 9k according to your handbook.
