Which Grease?
Hi all,
I'm looking to grease my geo setup bolts, any recommendations on which grease to use? And also any recommendations where to buy it from?
Thanks in advance.

Hi - copper slip grease is the current grease of choice. Make sure you slather it on the shaft of the bolt (oooh er!) and also try to get some inside the crush tube and on the nut that tightens it all up.
Even then, you'll still probably need to repeat once a year.

Check out Chippo's thread tis a good source of information https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/992...y-did-i-start/ about page 3 onwards
Copper slip is the wrong stuff, its ok between threads but not in the crush tube and around the bolt, you want some marine water proof grease as used on your stern tube. Check with a local yacht chandlers or oil suppliers, they will all stock a water proof grease for use on trailers and stern tubes, The most important thing is its resistance to "wash out" .
Stuff the bolt in the pot of grease push some up the tube and twist/ease it in, to fill all of the voids and prevent water getting.
NOW COME ON CHAPS YOU ALL KNOW HOW TO DO THIS
