It's that little bit of excess plastic (sometimes known as flashing) where the liquid plastic is injected (or vented) from the mould. It's half way along the top edge where it's glued to the back. On the OE this is diligently trimmed off.
It has absolutely no effect on performance, but its removal is indicative of Japanese attention to detail.

I have the In-pro lenses from demon tweeks - they fit and finish are both up to the original lenses. Maybe there is an iffy batch out there at the momnet - maybe you should send them back Nick - see if the replacements are any better?
Cedric - I have the In-pro 'Silver' lenses on my Silverstone car - IMHO (and that of most who have seen them) they look good - 'silver' is actually clear , but this means that they match the front lights very nicely.

Anyone want to trade headlights with US version? Im looking for Euro clear headlights......maybe you guys are looking for US spec ones......i know its off the subject.
