Blood, sweat and tears. Or to put it another way I average around 70 hours per week, and it takes 2-3 years to write it, and I'm only one of the programmers. (Well lead programmer - boss man )

Then again, it is paying for the S2000

Do any of you guys have your PS2 hooked up to a tv with surround sound.
Do you need to purchase additional cables (scart cables etc)?

I think it would look and sound great on my widescreen 32 incher

Andy:

Mine is hooked up to a 32" surround T.V. I'm pretty sure it comes with every possible type of connection cable you are likely to need including a Scart socket.

Sounds like the dot.com revolution....... But that's paid for the S2000

Anyway, enough of how to wire it.... What times are you guys doing.

5:40.829 - S2000 Type-V, Standard.

How about changing track? Complex string is just evil...

Time would be closer, but it would be far more fun on one of the smaller, normal tracks. Complex string is just a nightmare - no flow...

Ever the game player....

We could change track but one of the longer ones, say Laguna. Downside to this is I'll have to ditch all my Skyline times as I don't think the S2K would register . Just for you Brian, we could do the test circuit

I love complex strings. The best bit is the series of undulations on the back section

Got to keep reminding myself - slow in, fast out.....

Being a former Fiat Coupe turbo owner, we've been using the Laguna Seca track with NO modifications at all (you can adjust the standard TCS and ASM).

Have been recording the "hot lap" times. "Saddo" here has the quickest lap on the Coupe forum @ 1:41.606 .

If you name the game, I'll dust off GT3...

Slow in, fast out? I thought you had 5:46? Isn't that just slow round?

Sorry... getting my dig's in before my time gets blitzed. Then again that is the only lap I've done on Complex String. Did one lap, didn't like it, looked at the time and though oh well - no need to do another yet...

There's more opportunity for really carrying speed and learning the course on some of the other tracks.
