Handling Issues
Dear All,
Just got a 2000 and am having some strange happenings when braking.
Occasionally when pulling up to traffic lights etc the steering wheel does a 180deg left or right
I have had all the steering geometry checked (3 times) and the car will drive in a straight line with hands off the wheel.
It will brake from speed in a straight line.
I have had the brake calipers, discs, pistons etc checked and cleaned - all ok
All the suspension bushes (AR Bar)fine.
The only clue I had was when the Honda tecnician did a brake test, the levels on the two columnar dials moved upwards haphazardly although they ended at the same end reading (pressure or force).
That made me think that there is uneven braking force going to the fronts and that could cause this occasional pulling - although I would have thought that if the braking pressure is uneven then braking from speed would be variable.
The fault is very intetmittent but I am loathe to get it on a track day etc until this is sorted.
So I and my Honda specialist are a bit flumoxed!
Any thoughts?
Cheers

You've not stated the MY and I trust you're running on OEM wheels or at least those of the correct offset.
All I can think of is you've got air into the ABS module.
It's a bugger to shift - try a gravity and pressure bleed.
What are your hoses like? If they look a bit balloony under pressure, change them first.

Any fault codes ie:
P0550 Power Steering Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P0551 Power Steering Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance
P0552 Power Steering Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input
P0553 Power Steering Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input
P0554 Power Steering Pressure Sensor Circuit Intermittent
P0560 System Voltage Malfunction

I presume MY is model / year - its early 2007 - not sure of the model but its in its original wheels.
Hoses were checked for bulges etc but will try a re bleed
Cheers
