Default hardtop cable

I've got a 2006 s2000, think its the updated one as it has headrest speakers and a black ashtray compartment! I've also fitted a 2005 HT, the rear screen cable that came with the fitting kit is obviously for an earlier or different model. Has anyone an idea which one i need? If so, any links?

Thanks,

Laurence

Hi Laurence I have a 2007 model and yes the cable is different but what I done is cut both connector on the wiring and on the one that is on the car and just solder it it works perfect for me now

You're welcome to the other one if I can find the one I need! I'll send hardtopguy an email tomorrow, might ring my honda dealer as well, see if they have any idea what I need!

I found the connector plug dismantled easily enough and the old pins slide onto the new connector - wrap with insulation tape - job done!

I was thinking about that myself really! Just wanted to keep it as original as possible, would like the cable but might just do that to get it done quickly!

There's no point on shelling out on something you'll never see or benefit from! and when it comes to selling on you can pop the pins in the connector. Unless you have money to pour down the drain, in which case I'll gladly give you my paypal address
