Default Hardtop fixed?

Just got off the phone to Norton Way Honda. Car is going in on Monday to have the HT looked at.
Has the same prob as many others on here. Nearside front edge is slightly raised from the windscreen surround.
Bloody thing let water in from around the catch area the other day It was pretty heavy rain to be honest though.
They have even offered a loan car without prompting, as they reckon it might take a few hours?!
Just better not test drive my baby!
Will let you all know how it goes.

So took the car in this morning. After about 2 hours they come back to tell me the hardtop has been adjusted and now sits correctly. Reckon that I need new nearside roof seals and will call me when they get them in.

Only downside to the visit was the fact some twat with big feet had kicked mud all over the inside of the car, the seat, the cover for the speaker, the area beside the ignition. Was I happy? B%$#!$s was I. This is despite the fact I made someone go around the car with me at the start to check that she was in top condition and therfore any damage caused would be due to them. Numpties!

I read this since I too have a hardtop. Mine hasn't leaked. I got a kick out of the language differences we have though.

Nearside? I don't know what exactly that means in relation to our car. My guess is it's the same as inside is to me.

"Twat" means a nasty type female where I'm from. Kinda like the "C" word.

I've never heard the word "numpties" before.

Thanks. I enjoy the differences.

Spot on Kyras.

Nearside=Inside. So I guess in your car it would have been dripping on your head!

Twat=Mmmm, not quite as bad as the c word and can be applied to either gender.

Numpty=Stupid person.

I also like muppet, meaning the same.

Glad I've kept you amused!

Thanks baptistsan.

Another one I've seen is windscreen. Here we call it a windshield. At least I think it's the equivalent.

Don't forget "Ponti"

Its a military term for a 'person of no tactical importance' (Canon Fodder !)

Great to use as some people think its a compliment !!

Car went back to Norton Way this morning. New nearside seal put on. Leakage seems to have stopped. Got home though and have noticed a small cut in the rubber, doesn't go anywhere near all the way through and is very small. Should this concern me?

Loads of S's there when I turned up. One having alloys replaced under warranty.

Also had a gorgeous NSX in the showroom. Sorry no piccies :-( Will be better prepared next time.

Nick as usual was superb and the car actually turned up with out muddy footprints all over it!
