I was maybe one 11 years ago Haha, but back then you couldn't get a good one unless you spent at least 11k.

Demographic has changed somewhat not a bad thing, but forum isn't as good as it used to be, it seems lots are sheds with stupid wheels on, stickers and there's an engine a week blowing up.

I guess it's finally got to that price where it falls into the hands of people who don't know how or can't afford to run them.

Shame, to be honest I'm not sure what I can replace it with. And I spend less and less time on here.

Want a ladder for that horse? Of course as the cars become cheaper, it attracts less careful owners, this applies to all marques.
Ironically, often the cars with the stupid wheels are the well maintained examples (if you have ever been to car shows) and I have yet to see a real sheddy s2k on the road.

I actually cringe when i read posts like this - you can chav a car up by spunking 20k on stick on Mugen tat for it and -people were doing that back in 1999. It just cost more, it didn't mean they had better taste.

Remember the spate of oversized wonky wheels with dangerous, undersized tyres?

... though the easiest way to chav it up is to stick a sub in the boot

Most of the cheap cars are broken for parts. As said above its a jap car so there will always be some that modify it, badly in some people's opinion.

All its really doing is keeping the value strong for standard cars as they become a bit rarer. A car can always be returned to oem spec, just depends if you feel the spend is worth it etc
