Headlight washers - pre & facelift / CEL P1412
Hi,
Fairly new to the forum
Need a little direction with 2 issues I have with the S - otherwise enjoying the autumn action.
1) Just wondered whether the pre-facelift headlight washer would fit onto the facelift?
2) I have P1412 CEL to do with secondary air pump, clears yet returns within seconds of putting the key in the ignition. Also tried the resistor mod but CEL remains.. umm
Thanks
Rash

1) I'm not sure they fit correctly - why do you want to do that anyway ?
2) The relay that controls the SAI pump can have issues, even if you've replaced the pump with a resistor the ECU dectects the "pump" isn't working. not sure what the check code for that is. Have a read from here to see what I'm on about https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/918...t__p__21282589

Thanks for the replies guys.
I will need to check the air pump relay and compare part numbers with Honda. The pre facelift sits at an angle and can be cheaper to source on the used market.
Cheers

That's why I asked - I think I have a couple of navy blue facelift units in my shed. PM me if you want to make an offer - although having seen how much they go for I might put them on the open market
