Default Which Headunit?

I have just got my UK 03 S2000 and the headunit isn't working as it needs the code. I have checked my documents and their is no reference to the code. Is there anyway of getting the code?

Or should I just replace the headunit with an Alpine unit. If I go for this option what extra kit do I need to connect to the dash controls?

the alpine DCI is discontinued. Buy the Modifry, it's a bit more expensive but it's better

Don't feel compelled to go Alpine.

Weight it up for what you want.

For me, I hate Apple, so I don't have an ipod.

I bought the JVC AVX-11 (

That will be Alpine (If you want to keep the dash controls).

I popped into Halfords this afternoon and some of the Alpine's stated that they would be able to use Steering Wheel Controls. Do these still need an additional KCE-856b connector? There was one in Halfords to ask!
