Help - gearchange problems

The three bolts that hold the gear lever in can work loose and cause shift problems too.

But it's probably just needs greasing or the nylon bush replacing as Tim said.

Honda garages do vary in eptitude...

Thanks guys. It's going for a test drive and service at the weekend. The gear issue il get sorted myself depending on diagnostics.

The problem seems to have gone away for now. Seems rather weird. Might get it greased nonetheless.

What do you mean sorry? Yesterday morning I had a 20 mile drive to work. At the end of the journey it was sticky. On the way back home which was a good 10 hours later it was fine. Again this morning it seemed ok.

If the gearbox isn't getting as warm, stuff won't expand as much inside it. When did it last have its fluid changed?

Had a look at the clutch fluid and its pretty dirty. Once I get that changed then fingers crossed that should be it. Il be greasing the shifter regardless.
