Default Help with Modifry's "rev beeper"....

one? See:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry4860097

Even if you haven't have you any idea how I can locate and verify which wire is the tacho' feed wire?

Any construtive comments welcome (I have the workshop manual on CD but I'm damned if I can understand the information it contains in terms of wire locations - maybe a lesson here is all that I need ).

I think the one you're looking for is the black and white striped wire. Same one that's used for the HU auto volume control.

Try Lucid's sitehere.
That's got the install instructions and shows the wire.

Thanks for the link I'll check that out too

BTW If I ever get the little devil working I'll post some pictures of the hook-up that works (could save somebody else in the UK a lot of grief!)

EDIT:

I don't think that's the one - the lucid site shows the vehicle speed sensor wire location and its engine speed I need but thanks for the idea anyway.

Thanks, I'll see if I can trace that back to a wiring diagram in the shop manual CD (although I doubt it will be that easy, but its worth a try!).

EDIT: Success (with the shop manual so far) a chap in Australia has fitted one of these on a RHD and pointed out that the Yanks have differently wired stand-alone connectors due to the cruise control that is fitted. He has wired his feed directly onto the ECM connector (and he pointed out the same info as you to help me find this). Funny thing is, when I stopped looking in the shop manual for a stand-alone connector with this feed and looked at the ECM connector instead I went straight to it (ECM connector A, terminal 19, blue wire). Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction (when - not if now - I get this sucker working I'll post some pictures of the hook-up to help out anyone else with a RHD that buys one of these gizmo's).
