Try the breaker that bassoctopus posted about today.
He has them but it's a 99-01 car, so has black instead of chrome front lights.

Good luck getting it sorted

CH,

The 20Kv ballast is a separate unit under the light; you might need that.

You really could do with someone with a multimeter to go through it, rather than change things by guesswork. It might simply be drowned looms.

The trick with the 20 Kv is to switch the lights on for 5 mins with the battery disconnected, in order to drain the ballasts.

Cheers nick

car is going to honda tomorrow to get the seals re-done anyway, so shall get them to run a multimeter on the lamp to see if all is ok. Im hoping it is, otherwise im guessing the fuse would;ve gone too - so fingers crossed its just the bulb which has cracked due to mud.

seems the low beams use Phillips D2S bulbs (or Osram - Honda couldn't confirm the exact make but did confirm they used D2S bulbs, generally running at 4300k) so have picked up a pair of these from ebay for

grrr
Looks like im going to have to go through insurance now after all..

Car was in Honda today getting a few more checks after the spin, and although bodywork is fine (except light being a bit dirty inside and blown bulb + cracked grill), the panelshop that were going to touch up the sill's are now saying they believe the rear suspension is out!?

Prob is, the Honda service guys say they dont think anything is wrong

So i can get the geometry tested but thats gonna cost
