The bolt might come out fine but thats not where the corrosion only occurs

Its the collar that seizes to the bush that is often the problem and this needs cutting out.

I sometimes get confused with these type of threads, but why exactly are you changing the front lower arms?

Did you pop over to your mechanic to have the alignment done and was then advised that one or more of the bolts was damaged?

Did you have an off?

When one of my compliance bolts was seized I swapped a Mugen one in there for about £50

£633 seems a lot of expense to replace a seized bolt. You'll also have to get the car aligned after - another £100 or so.

Hope it all works out

Nope no off, I bought the car just over a week ago and took it to my mechanic to see if anything needed doing he said both bushes were perished but there was no give in the arms so I would have to look at changing them, also he said one of the arms was slightly bent.

So I just thought I'd better just get them both changed the reason I started the thread was to find out if you needed to replace the whole arm if the buhes are one as they are a one piece from Honda.

I agree that it will almost definitely be the collar that needs replacing and the bolt of course, if he has cut it.
On those compliance bushes the only thing for the bolt/bush to seize to is the collar.

When I bought nmy Mugen they were only sold in pairs. You'd have some very odd steering if one was ancient Honda and one was nice rock hard Mugen!
