right i have searched and from the posts i have read i am even more confused......about a week ago i locked my car and noticed the indicators flashed 3 times......is this normal??

i am 99% sure that my car used to give one steady (permanently ON) flash of my indicators when armed for about 3-5 seconds. I am almost certain that it has never done this 3 flash thing before.....but from what i have read then it should?!

My car is an 09......standard factory alarm with 3 buttons on keyfob including lock, unlock and boot release......i have checked everything......boot, bonnet, roof catch's to see if anything was open or loose and cant see anything.....

How many times does your alarm flash?

Has anyone had a steady on for 3 secs when arming?

I have also read on previous posts about there being a bubble for when the roof is down that protects the interior........i was told on one of my posts that this is not the case?! so confused....please help guys

 

My 06 flashes 3 times when i single click the locking button. (approx 1 flash per second)

The immobiliser light comes on on the dash after the3 flashes of the indicators.

Dunno what you mean by the bubble sorry.

 

1 flash for unlock, 3 flashes for lock for me on a MY04.

Do you mean the tonneau cover, which protects the roof when it's down?

Same for me, and with bubble I guess you mean the movement radar type thing, it is there but its not as strong I think

I've locked the car accidentally once with my mum waiting in it and it scared the life out of her
