Hi All

I am trying to find a wire on the S2000. On a normal car it would be the impulse wire that runs between negative side of the ignition coil and the rev counter.

As the S has not got an ignition coil as such, and the rev counter is digital I

Well I think I can help you then!

I have just fitted a Modifry DCI for the dash controls of the stereo, it needs a speed signal for the speed sensitive volume control.

Full details here!

http://www.modifry.com/products/dci/IR%20D...20Operation.pdf

BTW if you cut this wire and use the end NOT connected to the box of tricks for you speed sensing ie do not splice in the new wire. You get a free mod. Roof down with the handbrake on one click! ie on the move!

Hi Mike

That will do the job for me, I think I will do the roof down mod at the same time, as having to put the handbrake on full every time I try to raise the hood does annoy me just a bit.

This mod allows the car to be moving while the roof is going up or down, nothing to do with the handbrake which can be on full or one notch only - as stock, the roof won't move if the car is moving
