Help required on Detectors/GPS/Diffusers

I want to buy/order some stuff today and would appreciate advice on the best products, especially if you are happy with what you have fitted.

I have borrowed a Bell 550 which seems to work pretty well.

Which radar detector?
Cost?
DIY fitting?

WHich GPS detector?

Which laser diffuser?
