get a decent gauge mount too .. think about the gauges you want up front, i think you wanna watch AFR and temps, maybe oil pressure
I prefer Defi but don't think they do AF sensor anymore. Where I put the gauges is my biggest worry as I don't want them to be too obvious so thinking about A pillar pod.

Had a look at PLX and there is a version where I don't need a gauge, just download their app and show AF on the phone!.

I heard too many failure stories about AEM O2 sensors, so went PLX for my TTS setup (at the recommendation of a few people on S2ki).

Don't be put off by scaremongering of AEM widebands. The earlier 4.2 ones did tend to fail, but the more reliable LSU 4.9 sensor lasts longer. 3 years after I bought mint its still going strong.

ok so far I bought

1. NGK BKR8EIX spark plugs
2. Walbro 255 fuel pump
3. Hondata 4 bar map sensor for 2000- 2005 model
4. Injector Dynamic 1050 cc for Honda s2000 2000-2005

still deciding on AEM or PLX. AEM is cheaper but PLX has the option to display it on iphone which I like. (dont want to drill holes anywhere inside the car for gauges)

The DM-6 multigauge from PLX is really thin and easy to mount, I got mine sitting in the A-pillar area with just some double sided adhesive.
You can get it in bundle with the wideband at a pretty good price now SM-AFR Gen4 Wideband AFR with 2 1/16" Gauge Combo

I know i haven't updated much since fitting the smaller pulley. I didn't notice much difference in terms of boost. I get more power lower down but as it gets towards the top end the boost pressure increase tails off. My first suspicion is that it was belt slip but datalogs haven't shown anything conclusive up to this point. It could be that the charger runs out of puff as it is quite close to the rpm limit its rated for.

Today i got some noticeable belt slip at around 7500rpm to 8500rpm as i lost 2 psi of boost so i know for sure now that belt slip is causing issues for me. I have a crap belt on it so i will have a look and see if i can get a better branded belt. Other option is to slot the pulley to increase friction.

I'm using a FAI belt but having read supercharger posts on other cars it seems gates are the best in terms of minimising slip so i will opt for one of those

I run an oil cooler kit made from parts from demon tweeks, i have a thermostat sandwich plate and a full size oil filter K&N which fits no problems at all. I am taking it off though as my temps are running around 65 degrees on the road which is too low for my liking. I have a 3 core mishi rad and heat exchanger still fitted.
100% need a wideband, if you dont fit one then your a little silly in my eyes.
Most important part is take your time, dont cut corners and double check everything as you go along then have fun
Can you post a picture of your cooler setup? I can't figure out how you could run a sandwich plate and a full sized oil filter together... also where did you mount the cooler? Pics!!!!

  • do I need regulator?
  • Oil cool - any recommended brand?
  • Hondata 4 bar map sensor
  • NGK BKR8EIX
  • Oil catch can - do i need this
what else do I miss? or anything I should take off the list?
I would get a heavy duty pressure plate. So either the ACT HD PP with OEM friction disc, release bearing, pilot bearing....or a full kit from someone else.
Mine started slipping on the stock clutch right away.

You probably don't need a regulator... but get a wideband.
