Honda main dealers
OK, so I can't get the search to work...
I live in Birmingham and was wondering which Honda main dealers people have used to service/look after their S2000 in the area. Some suggestions of definately yes/they know every nut and bolt, to definately no/they dont even know how a wheel works would be great.
As a matter of fact, it would probably be a good thread/sticky/FAQ addition to list dealers nationaly.

gt750boy,
I had my S2000 serviced by Colliers in Erdington, last September. They were very good, and importantly they did their best to keep the price down. For example, in theory my car needed a 54k service, but it had only done 34k miles, and the service manager said he didn't think it was worth changing the plugs or setting the valve clearances if the car was running well (which it was). They didn't try and sell me parts I didn't need: just serviced the car nicely and gave it me back on time, for a decent price. As it happens, I think they are now the only Honda dealer in Brum, so you don't have much choice if you want main dealer service, but anyway, my experience with them was good.

only used parts in both Coventry (multiple times) and Solihull (once). both been top notch.
i've never taken a car to honda servicing so cant comment on either dealers servicing.

I've recently used Colliers in Erdington for the first service on my Accord ES GT 2.2 iDTEC.
In my experience, when a car has been serviced, it feels "fresh", e.g. you notice the tickover is smoother than it was immediately before it was serviced, and other similar subtle things. My Accord still seems rough when first started and for a few seconds afterwards (which is the bit that I'm talking about which is usually noticeably smoother after a service) to the point where I'm wondering if they missed something, or actually did anything at all?
If the Accord needs servicing again before my S2000 needs servicing, I will probably give them another try with the Accord as the location is most convenient for me when I'm at work, otherwise I'll be looking elsewhere.
Oh, the woman who works on the service side of things is a right snotty so-and-so and would be well advised to lose the attitude.
