My car is 3 years old tommorow , I have the option to extend the warrenty for another 3 years for

That doesn't sound like a bad deal TBH. PM Davey_2 to get a quote, as he works for a Honda dealer and is very competitive on warranties.

Well worth it IMO, if you're not going to mod your car. Remeber a new engine will set you back

AFAIK it only applies if the fault being claimed for under warranty is directly attributed to the mod.

That's the kicker though - if you get a K&N filter, for example, they could claim that any faults that develop with the engine were down to a non-standard filter and crap getting in.
