Euan, apologies for going wildly O/T, wont do it again.....
"I've only ever seen 2 in red before."
Tim, You misread the post, it's not a red or silver S2000 that is common.
It's the colour!!!!
As said in my first post the S is not that noticeable at a glance, an unusual colour pulls it out of the crowd. Then the car itself is noticed. The S is very unusual in being able to look great in all the available colours (even the green, dare I say), so why not take advantage. Relatively, only a handful of cars look good enough to stand out from others in any colour and the S is not one of them.
We notice them because we are looking for them, others don't.
My first one was MCB, which I still maintain is the best colour for the car, but it never attracted 10% of the interest that IOP does.

Bob Gerard were helpful, but they won't get any of the colours I like until September unfortunately, as they are special order, with June build dates

umm..maybe I am thinking of the wrong company, I thought they were Andrew Green in Ilkley
They trade under two guises, Andrew Green & Hondas-UK
They have a second office in or near London IIRC
Myself and BigTed bought ours from him. (2+yrs ago)
Nick Emmanuel doesn't work for them any more
from me
I even managed to haggle down the price.
Two downers were a poorly fitted alarm (Which they fitted correctly within 1 week-alarm fitter didn't know what he was doing) and it had approx 50 miles on the clock (journey from Belgium to the docks).
Oh and Roadkill also knows the owner...

Nick Emmanuel / Hondas (or Toyotas!) UK trade as Andrew Green in Ilkley. They have some sort of base in London, but I get the impression this is little more than a 'name plate' office.
It all sounds a little tortuous/dodgy, but I bought a car (Honda Stream) from Nick and the company have been about a good few years and are reputable.

I bought one from Nick Emanuel (honda uk) about 5 weeks ago. Everything went well and I took delivery of the car with no problems. The cars are rhd full uk spec with COC. One interesting thing is that he has a deal with a honda dealer in cornwall where he registers the car there so their are no problems with warranty work. I didnt have any problems insuring it. You just say 'uk spec'.
