Default How do I get this off the dash?

Alas there was a sat nav mount fixed on my dash, and when I removed it I found some strong adhesive was used.

Think the dash is ruined so might have to cover it.

Any ideas?

Spirits might damage the dash?

Disolves many adhesives and should be OK on the dash.

Lakeside Plastics sell "Sticky Stuff Remover" which seems to work well in my experience.
Let it soak for a while and don't use anything that will scratch the surface.

WD40 will shift it, then wipe over with warm water with a little washing up liquid to remove the WD40
