Default How do i make an S2000 Stencil

OK so i think I am clever and go to cut out my printout to give me an S2000 stencil, which i can stick onto something, spray randomly with spray paint and get, hey presto an S2000 logo.

BUT

When i cut out the 0's I just get a big hole, as i cut around both sides of the 0. hmm i am no artist, but there must be a way to do this. The S is fine as it is solid with no 'gap' in the middle of it!!

Any clues from clever people?

Just do exactly what you were doing and secure the stencil on whatever you are spraying to logo onto.

Cut out the centres of the Os and stick them in place within the Os using a little double sided tape.

Should come out perfectly.

Either that...or instead of cutting out the logo onto card, cut it out on sticky back paper.

damn...this is all sounding a little too Blue Peter.

Prefer the second one I think. You could then touch up with some paint over the incomplete 0. Or leave them as is.

Even if you do it this way, as Mr S2000GT says it's probably worth holding the stencil down a little with something to make sure that the stencil is sharp and paint doesn't get under the edges.

Remember to ask an adult to help with the cutting, especially if the knife is sharp.
