How long will these bits last ?
A question for all you M'Way drivers out there .....
Driving mostly motorway miles the S has now done 40K.
I had new rear pads and discs at around 15K due to a warranty issue but wondered how long I can expect other consumables such as front pads , discs, clutch etc to last

I have just 40k in 2 1/2 years.
So far I have had 1 set of front pads and 1 set of rears. I won't even go into tyres
I am on my 5th set of rears.
My car is in today to get the clutch and gearbox looked at as I think there is a problem. However I do a mixture of motorway and city centre commute.

i do 40k a year mainly motorway, but i absolutely cain my brakes the rest of the time, and i do trackdays - so i'm not much use. On my last S I had 4 sets of front pads, 2 sets of rears in 27k. I didn't need a new clutch, but that may have been because it only had 7k on clock when I bought it.
I do about 14k a year which is 80% motorway - at 25000 miles now on the original front tyres and only just bought my 1st set of replacement standard rears.
Brakes are still at about 40% all round. I cain it a bit at the weekends, but obviously not hard enough!
