Default ICE...

After deliberating for a while I have decided to add to my existing after market ICE. Will be going for S-pods with JBL 5 1/4" component speakers, Modifry DCI (for Kenwood HU), sub and amp. Trouble is I want to put the sub in the boot and don't want to make an enclosure myself from the plans posted on electronics forum and I doubt whether I would be able to get hold of the one from Lucid.

So, peeps, what suggestions do you have for me? Cost wise for the sub+enclosure+amp not to exceed

Where are you getting your S pods from (the US?) I have been trying to get hold of a set to check against my own template. I am working on some galvanised steel ones - rather than aluminum. They should be stiffer and more robust. I have heard a few complaints about the aluminum S Pods contruction. Plus they are expensive to import.

On the sub side I'll make a tool well one for you at reasonable price?!

Thought about one of those, but want to keep the full width of the boot so I can fit my golf clubs in

Looks like mikey k has the best solution
