iv noticed that after a good run ( just gentle driving) when i pull up at a set of lights the car will not idle at all it does this for about 5/8 miles then its fine it has only done this twice on me but its starting to bug me and want it right has anyone come across this before or no where to look i was thinking idle control valve if it has one etc any help would be greatful thanks andy.

Have a look in the FAQ as there is an idle guide on there which I wrote a while back, then report back with what you have found.

Throttle cable / lambda / map are likely culprits.

 

lol sorry bout that, i quickly wrote it before going to a very important place(the pub) thanks for the info i'l have a look tomorrow. It's only done it to me twice now but god it gets annoying in traffic.
