i got a my03 45k miles

starts up fine and when i drive around it is fine....
but when i am coming up to a stop and go into neutral the car idle drops so low that the car stalls... just started happening today... before this day coming to the stop into neutral the rpms would drop low but pick back up to normal idle rpms...

ross told me intervals for valve adjustment is 7yr/100,000 miles but idk if that could be the problem...
help needed!

 

could be a number of things:
iac valve
map sensor
throttle body

i would try cleaning the iac and throttle body and go from there. gl!

i've seen valve adjustment go out of whack with about that mileage but the thing is it would be a rough idle all the time.

 

it wouldn't hurt to do valve adjustment yea taka?

 

Alex the great gave me the idea of changing my air filter. I did that and car is fine now! i hope i did not just jinx my car....

 

you might wanna clean your iac valve too just for $hit$ and giggles
