Why change the rear bumper? Other than the shape of the numberplate surround, what else is different.
Why no security at all - does no one steal cars in Japan???

The risk of having a car stolen was highest in England and Wales (2.6% of owners had a theft), Australia (2.1%), and France (1.9%). Japan, Switzerland, Catalonia, the USA, Finland, and the Netherlands show risks of 0.5% or less.

My local Honda dealer told me that JDMs aren't covered by the Honda oil bolt recall (the thing that squirts oil into the cyliners - or something like that). Although I've read that some dealers do honour it.

I was looking into getting one imported and spoke with Miguel at Newera Imports - he comes highly recommended.
I actually had a deposit with them while they searched for a good one in Japan - I gave up after 3 months however, as none were coming up within my budget and I coudlnt stretch to a newer one.
I cancelled the order and got my deposit back less search fees which were acceptible in my opinion.

I had a look at NewEra, Torque GT and 200bhp cars (come recommended from the DC5 forums). Waiting to hear back from the latter but looking through the 'Previously Sold' section of the others there doesn't look like there's much in it for the price and just aswell sourcing one that's already in the country, gone through the SVA and hopefully got security sorted out.
That white one on here looks like the one that will get away, if only it was in January.
