Insured through Lifesure (broker) = AON classic sportscars = Royal and Sun Alliance
.
Still, they have been excellent with the recent 'coming together' and I get a great deal.
I have just emailed you the PDF (ah the joys of corporate technology
)..if you'd be so kind as to fire a copy to Mr T ?
Its brief..to the point...and kept my insurers happy
Thanks

Is this - bhp increase proven ? I always thought you lost a little power with the PRM??????
I have to say, I'm more inclined towards Jamie's understanding of the effect of the PRM. I've not scientific tested basis for saying so, but I find it difficult to believe that an intake that swallows gulps of hot air from the engine bay can offer any power increase. I've found a much greater propensity to bog down in hot weather than I had with the AusS2000 intake extension too.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - buy the PRM for the noise it makes and you won't be disappointed. Buy it in the expectation of power increases and I suspect you will.

I suspect you could have fun with that PRM power increase claim in the US. All you'd need would be some dyno time, a lawyer, and oh, a lawsuit. Then again, you might struggle as you'd have to convince a jury of ordinary people.
Bellmouths pull most of their air in from the sides, not in front of them. Just pointing the front of the bellmouth near a possible source of cold air, doesn't do very much. But the intuition of most people would say the opposite.
In the end, all that would happen is some lawyers would get richer....
