Thanks, what do folk suggest then without ruining handling - i know its a trade off between wear and handling but I'd like a halfway house so bit more tyre longevity.

I will be getting a front track rod end in a month or so, so will get the front adjusted.

If you've got a knacked TRE you will be running toe out under load, if you can feel the play then when you are driving, at the leading edge on the tyre it can be as much as 2 to 3mm so will exaggerate the wear.
