Just got hold of a mint OEM wind deflector and some new GT strikers. Looking to change both myself. Just wondering how hard it can be? Also I have no idea on how to do it, could anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial of some sort pls?

The wind deflector is still connected to the lid of the 'secret' compartment. Is this right? If so, any ideas how I change the lid?

I think taking the lid off is quite hard. I'd just dril holes in the old one and fit the deflector to that.

Strikers are easy - dead straightforward, take trim off, and they unbolt

Cheers Ian, I'll have a look at dismantling the deflector from the lid and see what I can do.

Deflector is easier than strikers - Ian is right both are pi$$ easy.

BTW a little tip put some threadlock on both sets of screws - deflector & strikers!
