Do you have a daily driver? Insuring the S without commuting to work cover and a milage limit can have a good effect
They wont touch the S2000 now

Sky insurance gave me the best deal and I did a LOT of ringing round...

Good luck

I think Chris Knott a bit rude at the moment, whilst I understand if they no longer wish to insure the S2000 I do think it a bit rude I've not at least had a letter from them - since they are my current insurers and my insurance is up in 5 days time.

I've had a few quotes in and was initially very shocked by the £350 hike in price but Admiral have now quoted at lower than last year, I am not sure it will be true for everyone but it might be worth getting a quotation.. at least for you un-modded folk.

I got a renewal quote from Chris Knott last week. I think it is a bit more than I paid last year, around £770

I renewed with Chris knott last week. Premium had gone up by around £80 to £560. Still the cheapest I could find with a normal excess.

Lot's of information in this thread .... https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/401...t__p__20314079

Roby - Brentacre came in with a good quote although when I asked for the detail it was noted they won't drop below £550 excess. Not a problem for some I guess but worth bearing in mind. As someone has previously mentioned - make sure you check the small print as a lot of the terms are changing to reduce premiums!!

As seen in the thread above, they have room to manoeuvre so it's worth pushing your existing company.
