Default Interior Lights

Evening,

Do the internal lights have seperate bulbs for the courtesy lights? I ask as my interior lights illuminate when I unlock the car and when I open the door, but my map light switches don't appear to work.

Pretty sure this wasn't always the case. The switch still allows me to turn the lights on and off, just the map light switches do nothing.

Thanks

There are 2 bulbs in total above your head if that helps?

Sry to highjack your thread, but is there an easy way to get to the bulbs using your fingers or do you need to prize it with a flathead somewhere?

Both bulbs illuminate. If there are only the pair, then there must be an issue with the switches.

You will need a flathead to remove the cover shroud yes.

Fixed.

Within the fixture is the switch cover that consists of 5 pins which create the circuit to the map switches when in the middle position. These were a tad dirty, so some contact cleaner resolved the issue.
