Does anybody know if the transmission tunnel trim for a 04'+ S2000 will fit a 2001 S2000 without mods (I know the buttons for roof/flashers are in a different location but I believe the buttons are the same and should just transfer? - I'm also aware that there is no provision for the headlight washer button on the 04'+ but I'm not too concerned abiout this - never use them!).

Anyone fitted the 04+ trim to an earlier car?

Why would you want vinyl centre console when you can have a leather one from Ricks?

Do you know if you can get the 04 trim off without damage and fix it properly to the 01 console?

Are the holes in the same place? the 04 console has a different layout..

I'm sure I've seen people put the 04 console in pre-04 cars and I think it's a straight swap, try a search.

 

I don't want the vinyl/leather console bit (I prefer the carpet) - just the plastic trim that sits on top.

You've asked the same questions I'm trying to get the answers to i.e. is the 04 console a straight swap (i.e. fixings etc) - does it come with the vinylt attached or are they separate items?
