Cars & Coffee - Cherrywood Business Park Sunday 6th March 2011
The third Cars & Coffee of 2011, Cherrywood Business and Tech. Park, will take place on Sunday morning, March 6th, meeting anytime from 10.30am onwards.
Take exit 16 from the M50, and follow the road to the complex, park up in the large car park opposite the Spar store on the immediate right upon entering the gate.
This venue so far has proven to be a great success, it is quiet on a Sunday morning, with minimal public traffic, and we have the permission and blessing of both the site security, and store owner.
Take care on the approach road to the complex, it is a three lane road, and very easy to break the limit(60km/h) but often policed with speed traps.

They currently don't have their Grand Prix (€55 per person minimum 10 people) timing working. But are hoping to have it up and running within the next 2 weeks.

We could do an arrive and drive from 2-4pm Saturday and Sundays for

30 minutes €35
15 minutes €25

I'll call them towards the end of next week and see how about a Grand Prix.

 

By the way - I was at the karting last August and they also said two weeks for the timing system to be working.

Take it with more than a pinch of salt that it would be working in two weeks

 

I was at this with you and heard the same story, in fairness though I was back a month later and they had the timing system up and running for the arrive and drive.

 

The line I got was the guy who calibrates the timing is in the US for the week and they are hoping to get him out next week

Couldnt afford it myself but as a passenger I would be interested!

 

I thinks its 2 drivers per car for £199 so not to bad if your sharing
