Hi all
Here's a couple of pics of my car as requested! Paint seems to be flaking off the rocker cover, I might re-paint when I'm checking the tappets and retainers.

Cheers
Looks good

Just keep her well serviced, check your oil level once a week and good tyres under her and you'll love every second of it

Hi Guys,

anybody else thinking of painting there cylinder head cover? I have been looking into it and this seems to be best suited.

http://www.cbsonline.co.uk/product/W..._AEROSOL_PNWRR

They cant airmail so it gets expensive, around 23euro courier for a can costing around 12euro.

Would any of ye guys be interested in splitting the cost of postage with me?

Cans could be collected in Portarlington, Laois or Dublin Airport. Or I could bag and repost for whatever that costs.

Might be of some help because I know mine looks like crap.

Joe

Finally got a few pics of my car.
Have the car now for 6 months and loving it. Always been a big fan of them and trying to keep her in OEM state.

No real mods but here's the spec:
MY00 UKDM Model
BC Racing coilovers
JDM limited edition VGS BBS
MY02 Hardtop

You know you can use normal paint to do this? Gives you more colour options, recently had my friend spray my B18 one after i had stripped it. The cover doesn't heat up much more then a black car in peak hour sun, i can still put my hand on the cover after a good run. Here are some "in progress" pics. Will be doing the F20C cover soon as well
