Yup. I'm booked into the hotel and have my MegaMeet ticket.

If anyone fancies coming as a passenger my passenger seat is currently free - would bring down the cost of the hotel room - single is rather pricey

Also, I just got a mail from Irish Ferries for a 10% discount for any sailings booked by July 31st - but for bookings up to December... it can be forwarded so if anyone wants it send me your email - faltermeyer AT gmail DOT com

P&O's only sailing from Dublin is the 8hour overnight one from Dublin to Liverpool - but wish I'd known that when I took it last month!

Chat about MM8 so we can get booking ferries.

Got a quote today for P&O - this is the overnight option:
Out 9:30pm Thursday 27th (max 8:15-8:30pm checkin); Docks 5:30am
Return 9pm Sunday (or Monday), dock 5am
€333 with Driver only, €383 with Driver & Passenger
Includes cabin, dinner and breakfast.

The Irish Ferries/Stena range from €265-300 with driver only, and €325-365 with a passenger.

P&O is really only a return option as its virtually the same price one-way.
the others are do-able each-way if you wanted to go out on an Irish Ferries, back on a Stena for E.g.

Not sure how the P&O suits everyone else work-wise, but it makes the trip a little more interesting, and does mean you hit the road early on the Friday morning (usually 6-6:30 before you get off, despite being woken up at 4:15 - though once you know that you can kip on through the horrendously early breakfast ) Cabins are quite impressive for such a short sailing also.

And Liverpool is a decent bit closer(~90mins according to Googlemaps) than Holyhead(over 3hours drive according to Googlemaps).
