Well Lads,
Thought I may as well introduce myself properly, seeing as I've been in the background since getting my s2k in 2010, and recently joined up. I must say I picked up some great advice, especially when it came to the buying and FAQ side of things. I'm a member on a couple of other car and bike forums, but thought it was about time to get involved here!
I'm from Dublin and I bought my MY00 Red AP1 in Oct 2010 from a lad who was on here at some stage (Damien, lives in Ringsend, can't remember his surname, possibly Reid). It's entirely standard, which is why I went for it in the first place. 60k miles and pampered for it's entire life! It still gives me the grin it always has when I open the taps. I also use it as my daily driver when I'm not taking the motorbike to work (K5 SV650s) and it's just a really nice car to pootle along in, especially with the top down in Summer (that 1 day per year is my favorite).
I've had the S out in Mondello once since I've had it, and was hoping to get out for the trackday on Feb 11th, but it looks unlikely at this stage, however I'll probably be down anyway as a few friends are going.
Hope to see you lot around.
John

To be honest, I don't think you will find the right one for that price. The cheapest ones in the UK + VRT are still higher than that. Any you do find for that price will have some serious issues that may or may not have been made apparent.. I would exercise a lot of caution.

Good find...Dayo was a member on here also...
Mondello is too far away for me.. but i hope to make Kirkistown (which is still over 2 hours away) on the 5th Feb. a Sunday.
Cars & Coffee, Cherrywood Business and Tech. Park, will take place on Sunday morning, Feb 5th, meeting anytime from 10.30am onwards.
Take exit 16 from the M50, and follow the road to the complex, park up in the large car park opposite the Spar store on the immediate right upon entering the gate.
This venue so far has proven to be a great success, it is quiet on a Sunday morning, with minimal public traffic, and we have the permission and blessing of both the site security, and store owner.
Take care on the approach road to the complex, it is a three lane road, and very easy to break the limit(60km/h) but it is often policed with speed traps.
