JDM speedo's don't switch - no idea why there is a difference, the car also calls a halt at about 110mph!

unless you have the speed limiter removed and then you can go..go..goooo! My must have been removed before I bought it cause I have certainly gone faster.

Do they change the ECU when they import Jap spec models to the UK?

The speedo display needs to be changed to MPH, the speed limiter needs to be removed, and as I understand the compression ratio should be reduced slightly since Japan runs higher compression due to higher octane fuel (??).

Could all of these be changed by replacing the JDM ECU with the UK spec??
