Yeah, he gave me the MOT certificates, that was the starting point of my ???.
Mot certification doesn't metion which unit, just the number "*********", and some of them with "******* miles".
Checked paid website,, "****** miles",,,, No problem on the history, just renew the tires time to time.

Thanks for att.

For sure he is a traider. All Japanese cars, Sky/Imp/Integ/etc.
He told that people doesn't like him parking 10-15cars around the neighbors.
But dodgy or not, really don't know, at least it is very clean/original condition for this age, under the hood, no rust nothing.
Car performance as well.
But ??? on the odometer.

For me for the moment, he done something almost for sure but no idea that is critical or not.

Rgds.

European would do so.
Israeli and some similar would make him reduce the price and make money, just like he is trying.
And my way is,,,,

OK, mates.

Thank you very very very much for your info and advices.

Now the situation is getting going on.

The owner mailed me today, now he is saying that the car has "MPH" on the cluster.
(When I was there he was telling b***sh*t that that has "km", and put the converting unit behind the cluster and actual the car ran 850000km+5000mile="900000" on the cluster display.)
That means for sure the number in the odometer is mile straight, not km as long as he didn't some manipulation on it.

That could be the great shame for him, and I don't want to hurt the people like this. That's too much for me personally and it's nothing plus even if I beat him up.
Just no make sense why he done this, that is very easy to find out for everyone by the time we pay to finish up the business. Even my mama could check on this.

Concretely,,, I made a way of escuse for him,,, I mailed "Ahhh, I just popped up you hit the wrong key for 65K for 95K, the 6 and the 9 are located next to your PC."
I hope he stop this by answering to the mail "Yes", otherwise I became an evil.
Then I re-negociate with him about the price.

Then,,,, here is the question,,,
90k mile-90k km(=65k mile)===>25k mile in gap. I guess this is approx. 2years normal drive in general, I guess.
HOW MUCH REDUCTION YOU THINK IT DESERVE??
The present price is 5000GBP.

Personally for the moment, I am thinking 4000GBP, give him his personalised number plate(because DVLA said no UK resident can not resale the number.)
I make him convince to deduct 1000GBP but could get back 500GBP by reselling the personalised plate.

Sorry for this question, guys. The story is getting away from tech subject.
Please give me some advice if you are afford.

Rgds.
