Hi Trish

Thanks for the update on Jensen, and I'm glad you have at least had decent customer service from Al. As mine is now in the danger zone of 6000-9000 miles, I will be listening out for the 'strange' noises but do not intend to drive any differently to how I drove my previous S or this one.

I will however keep an eye on the oil as this may be an indication of possible failure. As an aside, I had a complete engine rebuild on an MGB and I drove it for 100,000 miles before selling it with no further problems.


I bet you will run the new engine in VERY carefully - even more than the last one!

Dembo, I'd be very happy if the airbox somehow got swopped for a Mugen intake & exhaust but at this moment in time I'll settle for the new short engine & an intact Jenson!
