Give it the full vtech beans
Vtec** Jesus your standards are slipping!

Other than blipping the throttle you could try an aem v2 intake to suck colder air. Not 100% if this will cure your issue but it has to help.

Try to stop less? Who needs to enter a roundabout in turn anyway?
I´ve got AEM v2 and kangarooes as well.

I insulated my stock airbox and shortened an intake snorkel so it reaches past the radiator but not all the way down to the bumper and insulated that with dei reflectagold and finger crossed it seems to have got rid of my heat soak kangarooing

I used to get kangarooing all the time and hesitation on acceleration. I wanted to keep the standard airbox so I fitted a Password snorkel. This made a big difference and the engine runs great even in temperatures of 38°C+

I have a K&N FPIPKPIFPKFIFKFFFIPK intake and fixed mine by getting a new MAP sensor (ebay Honda jobby). New sensor+ECU reset = no more kangarooing or hesitations, even on hot days.

All the guides say it's just heatsoak and you kinda have to put up with it, but replacing the sensor 100% fixed it for me. YMMV

I have always found the jerky stuttering to happen when the outside temperature is low and the car is not fully warmed up. I have noticed since fitting the AEM EMS that the jumpyness has gone and it feels better. I wont know until winter is upon us but it feels better.

Im sure its to do with the cold mixture mapping. It is not an issue in the warmer weather for me.

Got a snorkel on mine, with intake temp more constantly cool its easier on the neck, and no bog
and much less embarrassing
done it yesterday with cold engine and drop in air temp,
ecu may not have learned the humidity changes of resent,
was also better when I slackened the throttle cable from my over adjustments <pre snorkel>

Glad to know this is a normal thing. I've never had it in England but driving to Munich last week I had it back in traffic on the motorways in Europe during rush hour.

Thanks for the suggestions . Just been for a short blast up country roads and the kangarooing was a pain. Changing up a gear seemed to work, but is still unsatisfactory. I may have to give Honda Grantham a ring. It's only driven weekends, which I suppose won't help.
