You are near Grantham, I am near Worksop, why don't you arrange to meet and drive my car and see if the mods That I have done to my car make any difference?

Its not necessarily bad throttle input / warm air - it can also be the MAP sensor on its way out.

I used to get this a lot when crawling steadily in 1st gear, clutch fully up and then the car would kangaroo randomly.

I cleaned the throttle body and IACV but didn't cure (do this anyway, it should be a semi-routine job really given how dirty they get).

Got hold of a new OEM Denso MAP sensor and fitted it, and it has never happened since. I know of a couple of other guys who have experienced the same and cured in the same way.

Can I ask how much for a new sensor? Sounds promising.
