Default Kangarooing.

I know it's a common issue with the S. Has anyone any bright ideas on how to stop it apart from accelerating madly?
Thanks

I find it's fine once air starts flowing again, but to get it going I tend to accelerate very gently.

Few blips of the loud pedal just as the lights are going to green help.

Vtec** Jesus your standards are slipping!

Other than blipping the throttle you could try an aem v2 intake to suck colder air. Not 100% if this will cure your issue but it has to help.

Try to stop less? Who needs to enter a roundabout in turn anyway?

Mine does it with a cold engine so I know it isn't heat soak related therefore revving it, blipping the throttle etc woulndn't work.

Bring the clutch up slowly and ease in the power gently. Prevents it from happening in the first place, for the most part. If it does happen, a few more revs and slip the clutch a little.

Exactly what Martin said! I don't think the problem lies with the temp of the air entering the intake tract but more with the length of the intake allowing the air sufficient time to get heat soaked.

I find you can usually detect a slightly lumpy idle when it gets a bit warm so i just give it a couple of blips now & again in traffic to keep it from bogging down when you eventually get moving.

Other than a well insulated or even a cryo cooled intake system, i don't see how you'll do much about it really
