Don't know much about the 4x4 Lexus but if it's finished inside as good as my humble IS200, then it's surely the one to go for. The sat nav is th e industry's finest, too.

fook me the Porker Cayenne seems quite reasonable...cheaper than X5 and XC90

The IS200 is very refined and has most of the gizmo's you'd be paying an extra

Pretty much ruled out a 4x4....just way too expensive...I see no value for money whatsover

Looking at a used A8....any high running costs will be offset against a reduced purchase price

all that chat and now audi!!!! Good choice though all 4x4s are for off road !!! Mind you there seems to be a lot of speed bumps now!!

Yep, the 4x4's cope with speed bumps and crap british roads much better than the S. They've got a lot more more gadgets too.

Anyway, we can't compare the two ...chalk and cheese and built for completely different purposes.

The S is 'like it is' ...and thats why we love em!
